Sharon R. Osborn is an associate in the Criminal Law Department. She provides extraordinary defense for individuals in State, Federal, and Juvenile Courts around Minnesota. With her experience working at the Minnesota Court of Appeals as a judicial law clerk, she will lead the appellate team. In addition to criminal law, her practice also focuses in the area of real estate law. Sharon has experience in many areas of real estate including both landlord-tenant law and acquisition of both residential and commercial properties. Sharon is a native of northern Minnesota where she graduated from Grand Rapids Senior High. She completed her Political Science/ History undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Prior to entering the legal field she worked in management in the research industry. Sharon received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. After graduation she served a term at the Minnesota Court of Appeals as a judicial clerk for the Honorable R.A. (Jim) Randall.
As well as being a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, she is MN Rule 114 qualified neutral/mediator. Sharon is also admitted to practice in the Tribal Court of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux (Dakota) Community.
Sharon resides in Minneapolis near the new light rail system. She is active in her neighborhood's involvement with development along the Hiawatha corridor. Sharon is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys home renovation and design.
